Master and PhD in Mining Technology at Clausthal University, followed by a MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau. Various managerial assignments in Germany, the UK, in the USA and in Belgium in the mining industry, in the oil industry and with Euroatom.

Since 1968 active in the Executive Search industry: 10 years with Spencer Stuart in Switzerland, in Benelux and in Germany. Founded Mülder & Partner GmbH. This Executive Search firm achieved in the 20 years of its existence market leadership in Germany and merged in October 1997 with Heidrick & Struggles. Jürgen Mülder was named President of the H & S International Division responsible for EMEA and Asia/Pacific. In addition, was appointed Director of the Board (from 1999 to 2001). As of 2001 active as Vice Chairman and Member of the Office of the Chairman. The main focus of Jürgen Mülder's professional activities are matters of Corporate Governance and Chairmen and CEO search projects on a national and international level.
